Largest dim sum (yum cha) dinner

The largest dim sum (yum cha) meal consists of 764 people and was achieved by 101.7 WSFM's Jonesy & Amanda (Australia) in partnership with Channel 7 and City of Sydney in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, on 5 February 2019.

The record attempt was one of many events during the 2019 Sydney Lunar Festival ringing in the "Year of the Pig." National radio hosts Jonesy & Amanda of WSFM 101.7 partnered with Channel 7 and City of Sydney to provide this meal to the general public free of charge. Approximately 3,100 individual pieces of dim sum were cooked by the Lets Do Yum Cha food truck and included pork, chicken and two vegetable options. The meal was served with soy sauce.
