The most stars projected by a planetarium projector (one off) is at least 700,000,000 stars and was achieved by Yokohama Science Center in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan as verified on 8 February 2023.
The number of the projected stars has been assessed and confirmed by two independent witnesses who are professional astronomers. Both expert witnesses confirmed Megastar-IIA has projected at least 700,000,000 stars.
